How Pepper Works
Pepper detects people approaching and initiates interaction on its own โ no button press, no prompt from a staff member. It uses four directional microphones to hear conversation from any angle, and responds through its speaker and a 10.1-inch chest-mounted touchscreen. Its arms and head move as it talks, giving it an expressive quality that flat-screen kiosks and static signage cannot replicate.
The robot runs on an open SDK, which means it can be programmed with custom interaction flows, connected to third-party systems like CRM or queue management software, and updated remotely. The content on its tablet screen is fully configurable โ menus, product details, maps, promotional material, or any application your team builds.

The software is sold as an annual subscription, starting from AED 2,000/year for the Foundation Module.
